Alligator Pizza
In the southern states of the U.S. – like Louisiana and Florida, alligator is super popular, and it’s also used as a pizza topping. Throw on some cheese, peppers, and onions- maybe a little creole seasoning and you are talking about a Cajun delight!
Grasshopper Pizza
In Mexico, grasshoppers are a traditional snack, and they’re also used as a pizza topping along with cheese, and salsa. What are a few legs on a pizza anyway? Does anyone remember the show Fear Factor?
Haggis Pizza

While it may not sound appetizing to everyone, it’s quite popular in Scotland, and some pizza restaurants have started to incorporate it into their toppings. Maggot pizza, also known as Maggoty Pizza, is a controversial dish that originated in Australia. The pizza is topped with the larvae of the cheese fly, which is said to give the pizza a nutty flavor. The strong fishy flavor and be a bit overpowering but many enjoy the combination of salty sardines and fresh vegetables. We don’t know about you but this might be one we need to plug our nose to eat.

The dough is made with squid ink, which gives it a striking black color, and it’s topped with seafood such as shrimp, squid, and octopus. The result is a pizza that’s not only visually striking but also bursting with savory flavors. We’ll bite… get it? Seafood?
